Overview
In this update, we’ve introduced a major feature to enhance form data integrity and fixed key bugs to improve your Salesforce form-building experience.
Major Feature Update
Primary Object Read-Only
When creating a form with a primary and child object, fields from any related parent object in prefilled links now appear as read-only, preventing accidental edits and maintaining data integrity.
Prefill Child Object Records
Create prefilled URLs for child object records. Related parent object fields automatically populate as read-only, streamlining workflows.
Bug Fixes
Person Account Bug
Known Issue: Users with Person Accounts enabled faced errors when creating forms that included Person Account and Contact objects.
Resolved Issue: The bug has been fixed.
Note: If you select Person Account as primary and Contact as child, do not drag and drop Last Name & First Name from both objects. Salesforce automatically creates the associated account-contact record; removing these fields prevents record creation.
Primary Object Prefill Bug (Read-Only Fields)
Known Issue: Prefilled fields from related parent objects were editable, leading to potential accidental changes.
Resolved Issue: Prefilled fields from parent objects now appear as read-only when generating child object prefill links.
