Overview:

Connected App Security Enhancements :- We have implemented important security updates to our Salesforce Connected App as part of our managed package to align with Salesforce’s latest security guidelines.

Key Updates:

• Enforced PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) for OAuth flows to improve protection against authorization code interception.
• Updated configuration to comply with Enhanced Connected App / External Client App (ECA) security standards.
• Ensured the Connected App is properly packaged and distributed via managed package, as required by Salesforce.
• Improved overall OAuth security posture following Salesforce best practices (secure authentication and controlled access).

Impact:

• Increased security for integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• No action required for existing users unless re-authentication is prompted.
